Zehra Rizvi, LPC

Zehra Rizvi is a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor offering psychotherapy to adults ages 18–64. She has a special passion for working with women and supporting them through the meaningful, yet sometimes challenging, transitions life presents—from career and family changes to identity shifts and emotional wellbeing.

Ms. Rizvi completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ms. Rizvi brings over 20 years of experience in providing a wide range of psychological services. Her therapeutic approach centers on empowering clients with the skills and insight needed to navigate challenges and create meaningful change. She believes that by reshaping how we interpret the world around us—and how we respond to it—we can enhance our emotional well-being and lead more fulfilling lives. Through a foundation of trust, compassion, and a safe therapeutic relationship, she works collaboratively with clients to support healing, growth, and renewed confidence.

Ms. Rizvi draws from a diverse range of evidence-based techniques and thoughtfully tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She incorporates a holistic framework in her treatment, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and life experiences. Her modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, and therapeutic practices rooted in Asian philosophy.
