Mrs. Lewin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia. She later earned a Master of Education in Counselor Education from The Citadel. Prior to Fresh Start, Mrs. Lewin served as a Professional School Counselor for twelve years, where she developed and implemented a comprehensive counseling program that supported students academically, socially, emotionally, and in career/college readiness. Mrs. Lewin brings extensive experience in academic planning, IEP and Section 504 Eligibility and Accommodation Plans, post-secondary education, standardized testing, crisis prevention and intervention, data analysis and interpretation, and psychological technical writing. She is experienced in psychoeducational evaluation writing and understands the importance of a thorough and detailed testing process. Her passion for data and details is integral in ensuring successful testing sessions. She believes having knowledge in one’s strengths and weaknesses is crucial to success and is excited to assist in her client’s journeys through the testing process.
Originally from the Atlanta area, Mrs. Lewin now resides with her husband and two young children. She enjoys cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs, spending time with family and friends, spending time outdoors, and her favorite hobby of organizing.
