Cedric Pirtle, M.A.M.F.T.

Cedric Pirtle is a Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) Intern completing his master’s degree at National University (formerly Northcentral University). He is currently completing his clinical internship with Fresh Start for the Mind.

Cedric has experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. His clinical work has focused extensively on serving foster children and families involved with the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS), supporting clients who have experienced trauma, grief, abuse, neglect, family transitions, and other life challenges.

Cedric primarily utilizes Narrative Therapy, helping clients identify their strengths, externalize problems, and develop preferred life stories that promote healing and resilience. He is committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered care while creating a safe, collaborative environment where individuals and families feel heard, respected, and empowered. Cedric is passionate about lifelong learning and plans to continue expanding his expertise in systemic approaches to therapy, including Bowen Family Systems Therapy and the Gottman Method.
